After my arrival in the USA last winter, I received a message from FIZZ that stated that both our phone lines would not work because of the 3G obsolescence in the USA so after spending 4 months in the USA with my US/Canada plan from FIZZ with no cellular services, I requested 2 new VOLTE card that I had to pay $20 each but when I went to activate it on the website, it bounced me out and asked my to use the chat to activate my new cards instead. After an hour wait, the service person would not activate my new card unless I sent them a scan of my driver's licence. Please keep in mind that I have been a FIZZ customer since the very beginning. I had my SIMM card in the phone, gave them the phone number it was for as well as the activation code, why my driver's licence??? Goodbye FIZZ !

ok let me start by saying this company is a complete scam ! Please if your thinking of switching to fizz DO NOT , everything single thing is a problem with them internet, signal and especially customer service !

I paid my bill for this month and my service isn’t working whatsoever, even as I’m writing this review they still didn’t solve the issue. When I contacted support they opened a freaking ticket and told me to wait , they respond once in the morning through live chat and that’s it, they don’t call you and you can’t call them .

Now I’m here with no phone and no one is doing anything about it, I’m at the point of calling my lawyer and bringing these scammers to court . It’s been 5 days now that I have no service and it doesn’t seem like anyone cares. DO NOT be fooled by all the "perks" they say you will get by switching with them because it’s all fake . I hate all of the big phone companies that’s why I went with fizz but wow these guys are worse. If my phone isn’t back by tomorrow I don’t care I’m bringing them to court . Absolute scammers what else would you expect from a company made in Quebec , gang de crosseurs !

In my experience it has really been smooth sailing from day one when joining FIZZ.CA.
I am not sure why some reviewers have not had a similar experience as me but I can honestly say that Fizz has saved me lots of money while offering the best rates by far compared to others.

Also let me state a few things about FIZZ so that I can help you set your expectations correctly
which I assume maybe a reason some people have had issues as they did not realize that when joining Fizz possibly.

So in my view, trading "phone support" for "chat/email support" while saving a lot of money is 100% worth it and better!
Also, it is important to know that FIZZ support is available 24/7 online, so they can be reached at all times for assistance.

Lastly, the Fizz discussion forums are full of info that holds answers to most questions !
(by the way this is similar to other companies that also have help forums for their members)

But the best thing of all,
- you are in full control of what you want to do from your online account dashboard.
You are able to change/modify your service, cancel your service etc all by yourself with no need to call anyone speaking to phone reps that seem to never understand the issue anyways.


So if you like this idea of paying least cost with an online chat/email support system & DIY capabilities, then do not hesitate to join FIZZ - you will enjoy it while saving money!
If you want to wait on the phone to speak to a rep who usually does not help anyways (from my experience), then go somewhere else & pay much higher rates if you are ok with that - end of story!

With that said - with the increase in people working from home over the last few years, I have a couple of home internet providers in my home for home internet and mobile services and I can honestly say that Fizz has become the company that was easiest to join & get started.
I have total control via my FIZZ online account on what I want to do etc - no need to wait hours on a call speaking to customer service reps that seem to always disappoint.

Transferred my number to Fizz mobile 7 days ago and still can’t use my phone to make calls. They charged me on my credit card. I raised a ticket and have been on the chat line. All I get is we are working on it. I asked them to cancel the account and transfer it back and they tell me they can’t until the phone is activated.
So frustrated by this useless provider.
10 days and still no phone line!
13 days and still no phone line!
Two weeks and I haven’t been able to make or receive a call on my number.

Worst internet connection EVER I work from home and at LEAST TWICE a day the internet completely shut down. If I could give 0 stars I would!

Spent about 1 hour waiting for an agent on the chat since the voicemail had somehow been deactivated and when peoples called they were never forwarded to my voicemail.

First agent asked me to perform series of weird steps. At some point transfered me to another agent saying he didn't knew how to correct the issue. (about 45 minutes long)

After a few minutes on hold to talk to second agent, the agent told me I did indeed had the voicemail on my account and he would help. He gave me to procedure to access my voicemail (which isn't my issue). Then the fizz chat connection was ended somehow after about an additional 15 minutes

Overall 2 hours lost and the issue still remains

Aside from the fact that many supposed happy customers wax poetic of how great a service FIZZ provides in-order to have you use their promotion code, Fizz is a nightmare in customer service and customer retention.

In order words don't waste your time if internet customer service is important to you.

Fizz provides no customer support. I'm glad I left them.

Horrible business model.

Trash. They LIED TO ALL OF US! BROKEN INTERNET AFTER Icestorm in Quebec, Has left over 48 hours and lies created by owners of repair for long weekend.

Hi what went wrong is they said they be there and just never showed up or never called, my girlfriend tryed to get in touch with them and didn't answer fast enough and they closed the convo in not even in 5 minutes after they said they can only come in a week. Service needs a huge upgrade they lost me for sure as a client because if they can't show up on the date they said it shows how bad it will be in the future.

I've had a mostly good experience with Fizz. Once you understand that there is no live customer service, you get used to it. Problems are slow to get solved, but they do get solved (One of their SIM card machines took my money without giving me a SIM card, and customer service reimbursed me pretty quickly).

Their website is slow, but the interface is clear and easy to navigate. It's much easier than other providers to see what you used, what your plan is and how to modify it.

It's also very easy to get cheap prices and I really appreciate that above all else.

Fizz is a very good operator with raisonable prices. internet speed here in pierrefonds is working well. I would suggest using this service as it gives good quality/price balance.
